Keep Shining, Emersyn is inspired by our beautiful, 2-year-old daughter with special needs. Emersyn was born at 26 weeks gestation weighing only 1 pound 15 ounces. The start of our journey began with a 4-month NICU stay where we saw Emersyn fight for her life.
Now as we embark on becoming special needs parents, this is an unfiltered look as we navigate Emersyn’s continued medical journey. It has been hard. It has been lonely. But above all, this unexpected journey has been so beautiful and incredibly life changing. My husband, Talon, and I thought it was worth sharing.
